It is Official ❤

Scared. To. Death.

I don't really have races on my bucket list I feel I must do, my bucket list race is the marathon...anywhere!
Hometown race, yep, that'll do!

I am 50 this year and I hope I get to tell the story of how I ran a marathon at 50 for the rest of my life.
I signed up and made it official, all I can do now is pray for good weather. You all know how much heat, humidity, and sun are my kryptonite. I am praying I will have a successful day. I don't feel like I will get many shots at this!

I keep telling myself it is just a few hours, in the big picture that is a drop in the bucket! Suck it up and meet whatever challenges come your way.

I have been putting in the hard work, and I am one step closer to checking this off my bucket list.

I sure hope this all turns out okay.

I am linking up today with PattyErika, and Marcia! Join in the fun!

  2. Or you could just go down a very deep rabbit hole like most marathoners seem to do. :)

Good luck, Karen! May you have a glorious cool, cloudy day.
