Still HERE!

I am still here!

I had an extended racecation and I just have not had a chance to catch up in blog world yet. I gotta catch up with life in general...I was away from Thursday through Monday night, and rolled into work on Tuesday playing catch up.

I will post about Panama City Beach Half soon. It was truly blog land comes to life. Usually when I attend a race, I know not a soul, or maybe one person if I am lucky! 7 blogger buds come to life was a treat beyond compare, and I met several Instagram friends as well.

I was awed by the beautiful landscape in Florida...well, maybe not the sand spurs LOL I had no idea what one a few days ago, but my tushie knows now :-D but seriously, such pretty white sands, and crystal blue water...so lovely. This was my first time visiting the panhandle.

It was a winner of a race, I mean seriously, you finish at Margaritaville... and you don't just get a beer ticket, you have access to endless cups  of brewskies ...what?! Somehow when I signed up, I missed that detail LOL I was like a kid in a candy store after running.

Be back soon to tell you my tale!

I hope all my amazing blogger buds are kicking butt this week!

Best,
Karen

  4. I am still flying high from that epic weekend! It was SO great to meet you, even though it felt like old friends getting together. I pulled what I hope is the last sandspur from the hem of my pants at the airport. Yowza!

  5. Sandspurs must be a northern florida thing because I have (luckily) never come across them here!

    Congrats on the WIN!

I'm jealous that you got to hang out with blogger and instagram friends! It's always so fun to get to connect with online friends in person. Imagine if the Internet didn't exist and we could only find friends from within our immediate physical location? I'd be so lonely hahaha!

One day we will get to be in the same space :) It was so much for me to to have people to look for on the course! That never happens. I really love getting to meet people, who like to talk running lol

  6. The sandspurs were killer! I have not found one since coming home, but that's because I'm not unpacked yet (because I'm sick now -- hopefully I didn't infect you!). It was great sharing a bedroom with you! I wish we lived closer together too (or that I liked to drive).

I rarely know anyone at a half, too.
